If your group already has a platform and a document system, they remain the documentary reference. FloorScan sits at the level of one site, where you need a dwelling schedule and documents to get signed on the landing.
Start with one stairwell
Twenty dwellings are enough to judge: the grid is painted with a brush, the day's notices come out as a PDF, the first tablet validation happens the next morning.
Keep the deliverables, not the tool
Everything the module produces is a PDF you file wherever you want, including in your existing document system. Nothing is locked in a proprietary format.
Migration FAQs
Does FloorScan read an IFC model?
FloorScan exports IFC from its takeoff module, but site tracking does not work on a model: its unit is the dwelling, not the BIM object. If your process is model-centred, what you need is a BIM platform, not this module.
Can several sites and several people be managed?
Yes. Sites are shared by group, with read or write rights, and the landlord can be given a read-only client access to their operation. It remains project sharing, not company administration with a directory and inherited roles.
