A real CAD DXF, not a wrapped image
Cheap converters just wrap your PDF image inside a DXF: you open it in AutoCAD and get a picture you can't edit, snap or measure. FloorScan builds a real vector DXF - the AI recognizes each wall, door, window and room and exports them as CAD entities on separate layers, so you can snap, offset, dimension and edit them like a natively drawn plan.
FloorScan restores real scale: it infers it from standard door widths, from a visible 1:S ratio, or you set it in two clicks on a known dimension - or by entering the total area. The DXF comes out in real meters with $INSUNITS=6, ready for AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Revit or QGIS, plus an area Excel from the same file.

Frequently asked - plan to DXF
What's the difference with a classic PDF to DXF converter?
Classic converters wrap the PDF image inside a DXF: you get a non-editable image. FloorScan rebuilds a real vector drawing - walls, doors, windows and rooms become CAD entities on separate layers that you can snap, dimension and edit.
Is the DXF at the right scale?
Yes. FloorScan restores the real scale (inferred from door widths, a visible scale, a known dimension or the total area) and exports in meters with $INSUNITS=6 - the plan has the right dimensions as soon as it opens in AutoCAD.
Can I also get DWG or Excel?
Yes. From the same plan, you download the DXF, an IFC model, an area schedule in Excel and an annotated PDF report, without re-processing the file. Native DWG export is available.
