Renovation budget estimator
An order of magnitude per square metre, by scope of works, country and zone.
Result
Base prices are orders of magnitude from the French market, transposed into the currency and cost level of the chosen country, with a fixed exchange rate. They frame a conversation, they do not replace an item by item costing.
Indicative calculation, run in your browser. No data is sent anywhere.
The price per square metre of a renovation varies mostly with two things: what you touch and where you are. A paint refresh and a deep renovation with rewiring and plumbing are not the same order of magnitude, and the gap between regions often exceeds 30 %.
This calculator combines a base price per level of works, the cost level of the chosen country and a zone coefficient, then shows the net total and the gross total at the local construction VAT rate. It is a starting point for discussion, not a quote: real pricing is done item by item, on a plan.
You can also let the plan supply these figures for you.

Where do the base prices come from?
They are orders of magnitude from the French renovation market, by level of service, transposed into the currency and cost level of the chosen country with a fixed exchange rate. They are there to frame a conversation with a client, not to commit a company: a firm price is built item by item with your own rates.
What does each level cover?
A refresh stays on the surface, paint and floors. The standard level also touches wet rooms and part of the services. Heavy work redoes partitions, electrics and plumbing. High-end adds material quality and finish.
Can I refine this estimate?
Yes, by starting from the plan rather than a global area: the analysis then produces a trade breakdown with real quantities that you price with your own rates. You move from an order of magnitude to a figure you can argue line by line.
