On a plan a partition is just a line. Its length, its two faces, its height, the openings that pierce it and the reinforcements that go with them are all data to extract one by one, by hand, across dozens of lines. The result is right when the job is small.

The analysis returns those same data in one go, in real metres, with the opening counts. You apply your usual board and profile ratios and keep the annotated plan to justify every line to the client.

Drywall contractors' questions

Are partition thicknesses picked up?

Yes, the drawn thickness is measured on the plan, which lets you tell an internal partition from a load-bearing wall or a lining. On a schematic plan where everything is one line weight, the distinction is made by hand in two clicks.

Can I get boards and tracks directly?

The module gives areas and linears, not your supplier's bill of materials. Your ratios depend on the system, the stud spacing and the brand: that is exactly what your spreadsheet does, and it now receives correct quantities in one import.

What about suspended ceilings?

Ceiling area per room is computed alongside floors and serves directly as the basis for a suspended ceiling. The grid itself depends on your system and follows from that area in your own ratios.
