Quotes die of retyping
Between the plan received and the quote sent, the same figure is copied three times: plan to notebook, notebook to spreadsheet, spreadsheet to quote template. Every copy costs time and adds risk, and the version sent is already no longer the one that was measured.

Are the suggested prices reliable?
They are renovation market orders of magnitude, useful to rough out a budget, never to commit a firm. A quote is signed with your prices: the base exists so you have a complete line to correct rather than a blank page.
Can I start from an empty quote?
Yes. You can delete the suggested trades, keep just one, or build your lines one by one with your own wording. The automatic proposal is a starting point, not an imposed frame.
How do I justify a contested quantity?
The annotated plan and the takeoff table export alongside the quote. The client sees where every m² comes from, room by room, which turns an argument of principle into a factual check.
