On work in a dwelling the applicable rate is not unique: energy retrofits, improvement of an older home and new build do not fall under the same regime, and that split changes from one country to the next. Getting the rate wrong on a quote means getting the price told to the client wrong.

Which rate applies to my work?
It depends on the nature of the work, the age of the dwelling and its use. The labels give the general frame of each rate, but qualifying a specific job is a matter for your accountant or the tax authority.
Are the rates the ones for my country?
Yes, if your country is in the list: the calculator covers 31 markets, from France to the United States by way of the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada or Japan, each with its construction rates and its currency. If yours is missing, enter the amount and use the rate that concerns you: the formula itself does not change.
Does the generated quote apply this rate?
Yes, the VAT rate is a field of the quote and of the price breakdown: it applies to the subtotals and to the gross total printed on the PDF. You choose it when drafting.
