Do I need a scanner to digitize my plan?
No. A photo taken with your phone is enough, as long as the plan is shot straight-on, fully in frame and well lit. FloorScan straightens small distortions and reads the image directly - a flatbed scanner works too, but isn't required.
My plan doesn't show areas, does FloorScan compute them?
Yes. The AI detects each room and computes its area in real m², along with perimeters and footprint. You just set the scale once: by entering the property's total area (listing, deed, EPC) or by calibrating on a known dimension.
What is the result concretely used for?
