AutoCAD can't understand a photo - FloorScan can
A phone photo is distorted, shot at an angle, unevenly lit: importing it as an underlay in AutoCAD just gives you a fuzzy image you still have to trace over by hand. FloorScan does the opposite: the AI first straightens the perspective, then recognizes the building objects - load-bearing walls, partitions, doors with their swing, windows, named rooms - and exports them as real CAD entities, not pixels.

Is a photo taken with my phone really enough?
Yes, if the plan is shot straight-on, fully in frame and well lit. FloorScan straightens small perspective distortions automatically. The sharper and more contrasted the linework, the better the detection - and the built-in editor catches doubtful areas before export.
Does the file really open in AutoCAD?
Yes. The export is a native DXF with separate layers (walls, partitions, doors, windows, footprint), in real meters and $INSUNITS=6: it opens as-is in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Revit or QGIS. No conversion is needed, AutoCAD opens the DXF directly and a Save As produces the .dwg if your office archives in that format. Native DWG export is available.
My photo has no dimension or scale, does it still work?
Yes. FloorScan first estimates the scale from standard door widths (90 cm), then you refine it in one click: calibrate on a known distance, or enter the property's total area - everything recalibrates automatically.
