Is a photo taken with my phone really enough?
Yes, if the plan is shot straight-on, fully in frame and well lit. FloorScan straightens small perspective distortions automatically. The sharper and more contrasted the linework, the better the detection - and the built-in editor catches doubtful areas before export.
Does the file really open in AutoCAD?
Yes. The export is a native DXF with separate layers (walls, partitions, doors, windows, footprint), in real meters and $INSUNITS=6 - it opens as-is in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Revit or QGIS. DWG is available in one click from the same screen.
My photo has no dimension or scale, does it still work?
