Can I rely on these areas in a report?
They are measured on a plan, not on the property: they prepare and cross-check your survey, they do not replace it. It is your on-site measurement that carries your liability and goes into the report.
Archive plans are often illegible.
Detection tolerates noise, doubled lines and stains. What really matters is one legible dimension somewhere to set the scale: without it you get correct proportions but not metres.
Does the data stay confidential?
Your analyses and projects are attached to your account and visible only to you, or to the members of your group if you create one. Sharing a project is an explicit action, never a default setting.
