FloorScan is on Indiegogo: join the next chapter
It's official: FloorScan is live on Indiegogo. After months spent turning floor plan PDFs into usable data — areas, openings, Excel and DXF exports — we're opening the door to everyone who wants to accelerate what comes next.
This post explains why we chose crowdfunding, what the campaign will concretely fund, and every way you can support us — including the ones that cost nothing.
Why a crowdfunding campaign?
FloorScan is built close to its users: architects, quantity surveyors, estimators, contractors. Crowdfunding extends that logic — rather than depending solely on investors, we give the community that uses the tool daily the power to shape and accelerate its roadmap.
It's also a truth test: if the promise — analyze a PDF plan in 30 seconds and get reliable data out — resonates, the campaign will show it publicly.
What the campaign will fund
Three workstreams concentrate most of the funds. First, the AI engine: more accuracy on difficult scanned plans, handwritten annotations and large multi-unit plans. Second, integrations: a public API and deeper connections with the CAD/BIM tools you already use. Third, infrastructure: faster analyses, for everyone, at peak hours.
Each funding milestone unlocks one workstream — details are on the campaign page, and the roadmap will stay public for the campaign's entire duration.
Early-bird perks for the first backers
The campaign perks are designed for people who will actually use the tool: preferential pricing locked for life on the first tiers, increased analysis quotas, early access to new features, and a founding-member status visible on your account.
Early-bird perks are limited in number — that's how Indiegogo works — so the earliest backers get the best deals.
How to support the campaign — even without contributing
Contributing is the direct route: visit the campaign page, pick a perk, it takes two minutes. But visibility matters as much as funds: Indiegogo's algorithm surfaces campaigns that generate visits, shares and followers.
Concretely: follow the campaign (the free "Follow" button), share the link with a colleague who spends their days on PDF plans, and relay our LinkedIn and X posts. Every action increases the campaign's reach — and its chances of hitting the milestones.
Transparency during and after the campaign
A crowdfunding campaign is a commitment, not a blank check. Throughout the campaign, we'll publish regular updates on the Indiegogo page: progress, decisions, any difficulties. After the campaign, backers will receive a milestone-by-milestone report on how the funds are used.
